Knox County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating an apparent triple homicide at a North Knox County apartment complex after three people were found dead there this afternoon. The three victims, who authorities have yet to identify, apparently were shot, KCSO spokeswoman Martha Dooley said. "A person of interest" is in custody.
On a porch in Jametown, Tenn., Leonard Anderson is picking for friends. He writes songs about the people and home that he loves and plays them right there in his yard.
For 78-year-old Lou Wilson of Speedwell, Tenn., "singing means more to me than just about anything." Wilson has been singing and playing the guitar for decades.

Eighty-eight-year-ol d Charlie Acuff is the elder statesman of Knoxville's old-time music scene. He was 12 years old when he learned to play the fiddle, and by the 1930's, he was performing regularly on the radio with his brother, Gayle, as well as at schools, square dances and social events.
Old time fiddler Clyde Davenport, 85, has been playing for 76 years. Listen as he performs some tunes in his Jamestown, Tenn. living room.
