The ankle's allowable range of motion on this AFO can be adjusted. This allows the user to adjust the AFO to accommodate walking in different environments. It can be adjusted for walking up and down stairs, walking on slopes, to ride a bike and to walk on uneven ground. In some cases it allows the user to comfortably control the pedals in a car.
