Boston stalwart Jon Butcher and his band The Jon Butcher Axis. Apparently no video of this tune (popular on Boston rock radio in 1983) officially exists, so I made one.
One of the most underrated bands of the 90s, Morphine melded free-form beat lyrics with a clean bass, jazzy drums and a sexy saxophone sound that band leader Mark Sandman dubbed "Low Rock". This killer cut is from their classic 1994 album "Cure for Pain". Sadly, Sandman died of heart failure in 1999 while performing onstage at an Italian concert.
