Notre Dame was stopped on the next play, on 4th-and-1, though it eventually scored a touchdown to overcome a 16-13 deficit and snap a six-game losing streak vs. B.C.
On 4th-and-17, from its own 25-yard-line, the B.C. Eagles keep their hopes alive against Notre Dame in this last-ditch, 4th-quarter bid to overcome a 20-16 deficit. Several plays later, Notre Dame sealed the win on an interception that you can see here:
