Album "Midnight Marauders" 1993
Electric Relaxation was the second single from A Tribe Called Quest's third album Midnight Marauders. It contains samples from "Mystic Brew" by Ronnie Foster. The beat is notable for being a three bar loop, uncommon in hip hop music. Along with Lyrics to Go on the same album, this was one of the first instances of such a loop.

Today we remember one of the greatest emcee, the Legendary Notorious BIG. It has been 13 years since Biggie was murdered. His death still hasn't been solved, although many rumors have been speculated over the years. Biggie Smalls would have turned 38 years old today, May 21st, although he only released two albums, his legacy has already been cemented.
