German shepherd Annabelle shows how her Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair enabled her to continue hiking and exploring despite having lost her rear leg mobility to degenerative myelopathy. The Walkin' Wheels Mini Dog Wheelchair adjusts to the height, width, and length of your dog, usually without tools. We've built into the design, though, and additional level of adjustment called "Short Leg Dogs" and "Long Leg Dogs".
A screwdriver is required for this adjustment.
The Walkin' Wheels Mini is ideal for Dachshunds and other dogs under 20 Pounds. This video shows you how to use it.
For additional height adjustments, please see the video titled "Adjusting The Height of The Walkin' Wheels Mini."
HandicappedPets.com donated a Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair to Vaik, a retired police dog from Marlboro, New Jersey. Vaik suffers from degenerative myelopathy and had to retire from service in August 2010.
