A short documentary about the Sri Lanka School of Prosthetics & Orthotics, founded by the Cambodia Trust, the Nippon Foundation and the Sri Lanka Ministry of Healthcare and Nutrition. The school trains Sri Lankans from across the country to be prosthetist/orthotis ts - specialists who prescribe and fit artificial limbs and orthopaedic braces for people with disabilities.

Dr Peter Carey, co-founder of the Cambodia Trust, has been honoured with a Beacon Prize for Leadership. This film was shown during the Beacon Awards ceremony held in London on November 18th 2008.
Choun Saroth, a student at the Cambodian School of Prosthetics & Orthotics (CSPO), makes a prosthetic limb for a landmine survivor. At CSPO, students from Cambodia and other developing countries learn to prescribe and fit prosthetic limbs and orthoses (braces). This film was made several years ago - Saroth is now a lecturer at CSPO, passing on her skills to other students.
