May 7 to 11 marks National Nursing Week, and provides the opportunity for all of us to celebrate Canadian nurses. The theme of this year's Nursing Week, "The Health of our Nation", is particularly well suited to nurses here at Sunnybrook.

While you're dusting off all the other corners of your house this spring, take a few minutes to go through your stash of medications. Bring expired pills and creams to your nearest pharmacy for safe disposal. Every drug has its risks and toxicities, even those available over the counter.
