A short film about the skateboard ride across America Josh Maready, Scott Kam, Nick Krest and I did in 2003 to raise awareness and research funds for Lowe Syndrome. The ride was in honor of my son, Jack Marshall Smith, who died from complications due to Lowe Syndrome.
The 2010 Freshpark Skater-X World Championships were held October 9/10 in Morro Bay, California. Roger Hickey, owner of Freshpark developed the idea and put up the dough to make it happen.
The skaters really seemed to enjoy themselves, as did the spectators.
This is a bit newer version of the teaser clip. A 30 minute tv show is being produced about the event.
